About
Built by Instructors, for Instructors
USCCWInstructors.com was created by firearms instructors who already work with and refer students to instructors across the United States. It is being developed from real-world experience helping firearms students navigate training requirements across multiple states.
The Problem
Students cannot tell who can help them
Through years of helping students find qualified instructors in different states and jurisdictions, we repeatedly encountered the same problem: there is no single, current, comprehensive and independent national resource that organizes firearms instructors by the information students and other instructors actually need.
Existing information is fragmented across certification organizations, government instructor lists, ranges, training companies, individual websites, and older directories. Information may also become outdated as instructors change availability, certifications, agency approvals, services, or range affiliations. Students pursuing concealed carry permits — particularly multi-state and non-resident permits — often cannot determine which instructor can satisfy a specific training requirement.
Why We Built It
The resource we wished already existed
We were already referring students to instructors across the country. The difficult part was finding current information. Instructors retire. Certifications change. Agency approvals change. Range relationships change. Some instructors stop accepting students, while other highly qualified instructors can be surprisingly difficult to find.
Instead of continuing to rely on disconnected lists, spreadsheets, and directories, we decided to build the resource we wished already existed.
The Objective
Connect requirements with qualifications
The long-term objective is to connect students with instructors whose credentials, agency approvals, services, location, and availability fit the student's specific training requirements. That matching capability is under development and is not operational today.

Independence
Independent of any single organization
USCCWInstructors is independent of any single certification organization, training company, range, legal-service provider, or booking platform. We include instructors with certifications, affiliations, and relationships from many different organizations, and we do not favor one certification organization over another.
What We Are Not
A network, not an authority
USCCWInstructors.com is not a government agency, licensing authority, certification organization, or regulatory body. Joining the network does not make an instructor approved by any government agency, and we do not issue certifications or approvals of any kind.
